The final conference for HEPRO was held in Brussels on November 8-9. During the two days almost one hundred participants shared their experiences from the project. Exciting results from the EUROHEPRO survey were also presented.

The conference focused on the topic "how to develop a sustainable public health policy" based on the principles of Empowerment Planning – six steps to a successful and sustainable public health policy. Questions about communicative planning, using the toolkit and the survey for local and regional purposes were discussed.

Participants were offered a chance to discuss practical ways to reach the HEPRO targets understanding the basic principles and contents for HEPRO. It was also a unique opportunity for all partners to meet and thereby fulfilling the intention to establish a platform for transnational cooperation.

The conference was held at the Thon Hotel Brussels City and consisted of plenary sessions. The first day was reserved for HEPRO partners. The second day was an open day presenting the HEPRO results.

One of the main points on the agenda was the presentation of survey results. A flash presentation is available here .
